For as long as we can remember, Burton have been synonymous with snowboarding – and the brand celebrated their 40 year anniversary last night at Surly’s.

Despite it warming up in Sydney as we gear towards summer, the snow enthusiasts came from far and wide to help celebrate another milestone with Burton. Sitting just a heartbeat from Taylor’s Square, Surly’s do an excellent pulled pork sandwich – which is why we were more than keen to head there for the party. Once inside, the space was decked out in the latest and best product from Burton, snowboarding footage from their deep archives and even some machines that allowed everyone to make their own tees and totes. Customised fashion, we’re into it!

Here’s to 40 years of Burton, and another 40 years in the game:
