Just in case you missed it, LWA shooter Jack Bennett has spent much of August trekking across Europe with DJ Carnage – eating tapas, running into Paris Hilton and going to his fair share of blockbuster festivals and club benders.

While he’s since said goodbye to Carnage after two weeks of madness and liver damage, there was one more adventure before the long flight home to Australia: A weekend with Example. Jack was first introduced to the UK crossover star back in 2014 via Dillon Francis, and maintained a relationship after shooting for him at Future Music Festival (RIP) in 2015. Come 2016, Jack traveled with Example throughout Croatia, Italy and beyond for three shows over one weekend. Let’s get it:

We meet up with Example and his crucial Adidas footwear in Poreč, Croatia for the MTV Summer Blast event. Mic in hand, it’s time to hit the stage.

MTV Summer Blast is certainly living up to its name. Much fire, such explosions. Here’s the view from the decks with DJ Wire controlling the pace – it’s much more uptempo with this many electronic bangers in the catalogue.

No rest for the wicked: The following morning we drive from Croatia through Slovenia and into Italy for a flight to the UK. Example is really on that international lifestyle. How cozy is this jet?

We arrive at V Festival and catch up with Kaiser Chiefs’ main man Ricky Wilson. Shouts for the rider which includes the holy trinity of bananas, beer and vodka.

The following morning we meet at Example’s house and he shows us his car collection, starting with a Porsche GT4, which is only slightly better than that Diahatsu hatchback we’ve been eyeing off so we can do mainies down Campbell Parade this summer.

He also has a yellow McLaren stashed away. No big deal.

We roll into the festival with Example’s wife, former Australian Miss Universe Erin McNaught. Hooray for another Aussie in the house, and props for the Wu-Tang handbag. 10 points.

Example’s parents are also here for a little bit of family banter and pineapple cocktails.
