Earlier this month, we headed to Alison Wonderland’s Scarehouse Project, a spooky music spectacular deep in Western Sydney.

From DJing mid-week parties in Kings Cross to the biggest festival stages across the globe, Alison Wonderland’s story is nothing short of inspiring. We’ve been tracking her career thoroughly since she was situated in Sydney, and watching her headline slots at Listen Out and strip club album release parties, it seemed like only a matter of time before she relocated overseas to tackle the world with conviction.

Having brought sold-out Wonderland Warehouse Project tours to Australia twice over, Alison stepped it up with her third instalment. She returned home with some ghoulish antics, morphing the event into the Wonderland Scarehouse Project, a full-blown horror-themed festival in an outdoor location with two stages, fireworks, and some of the world’s best in rap and electronica.

Sydney’s edition saw us head out to Lizard Log in Abbotsbury, where we photographed and interviewed some of the talents on show in our own makeshift studio, including ASAP Ferg, Lunice, DJ Taco and Alison herself. See it all here, and we can’t wait to see how Scarehouse evolves once more in 2018:
