If you’ve just returned from Splendour In The Grass, there’s a good chance that you’re sitting in your bedroom with all the blinds down, withering away into a useless pile of shit and cutting off all communication from the world.

However, you might want to turn on your phone for this one: UberEATS is launching in Sydney today at 11:00am! If you’re a party animal who gets rejected by every cabbie as you’re standing on George St at 3:42am, there’s a good chance that Uber has saved your life at least once and gotten you home without a hitch. Now, the service is getting even better and catering to all of your culinary needs by delivering food to your doorstep, free of charge. UberEATS has previously launched in Melbourne, but from today, Sydneysiders will get a slice of the action.

So which eateries will be taking part in UberEATS? There’s over 100 restaurants who will be getting their food delivered between 11:00am and 10:00pm. Surry Hills spot Butter are available for the fried chicken fiends, while there’s beef patties aplenty with Chur Burger and Cheeky Burger. There’s also Fratelli Fresh for pasta, Love Supreme for pizza, and if you’re feeling pho-nomenal, So 9 will be serving up bowls of aromatic and nourishing broth with rice noodles and bean sprouts to boot. Oh, and if you’re looking to really treat yourself with something fancy, get yourself some lobster rolls from Waterman’s!

The only catch is that UberEATS will be delivering to inner-city suburbs, so hopefully you fall inside that bubble. Otherwise, download the App here and get ordering at 11:00am for that early lunch.
