Being photographers, it’s always encouraging and inspiring to see how others capture their world with cameras.

That’s the main ethos behind Frames: A weekly series where we showcase photographers who pick their favourite images and team them with words to form their own unique narrative. We’ve been running Frames for a few years now, but really searched further abroad in 2016 – hosting talented individuals who use their cameras to great effect in the worlds of skate, fashion, music, Mother Nature and everything in between.

Whether it’s highly intimate moments or colossal commercial jobs, Frames has showed us how photography can be life-changing for some, and even life-saving for others. We’ve narrowed it down to our 10 favourite galleries below, so delve into the best of Frames as we look towards 2017:
