At least he wouldn’t have to stay up so late…

Adding to the seemingly never-ending scandal concerning the Ellen Degeneres Show, James Corden is reportedly in talks to replace the 62-year-old comedian in the daytime slot. Corden currently hosts The Late Late Show on CBS while Ellen’s show is on NBC, so if this happens, it’s definitely gonna make a hell of a lot of waves. The news comes after countless ex-staffers and celebs have come out against DeGeneres, for allegedly fostering a toxic workplace as well as mistreating various individuals and guests on her show.

I mean, if there was anyone to replace Ellen, it’s probably James. He’s hella charismatic, outgoing, and he’s bloody a musical bombshell. He’s reportedly been eyed to succeed Ellen for quite a while now anyway, even before the scandal broke out. And with kick-ass segments like Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts as well as Carpool Karaoke, James definitely has a quite an array of positives he could bring to the daytime slot.

Intense stuff, we’ll be watching intently to see how this all unfolds. Just promise us James that you’ll keep everything we love about The Late Late Show if you end up making the move…
