“Only two things I know about Albuquerque…”

Saul-a-holics rejoice, as episode 1 of the critically acclaimed crime drama Better Call Saul was easily the best season opener the series has ever had.

The episode sees our favourite con man Jimmy McGill/ Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) living as a Cinnabon manager in Omaha named Gene Takovic. The poor bloke seems to have quite the miserable life, but he’s intent on keeping it. Adding complications to the mix, Jeff, a cabby played by Don Harvey, who gave Saul a lift last season, has discovered his former life as Saul Goodman, and odds are he’s looking to shake him down.

After this, Saul calls the Disappearer, played by the late Robert Forster, to buy another identity, but then decides to save his diamonds and just “fix it” himself. We wonder what fixing it means for former scam artist turned lawyer, fingers crossed we find out soon…
