A follow back from Dave would be the ultimate flex…
In perhaps some of the best news of 2020, Sir David Attenborough, humanity’s favourite environmentalist and just favourite person in general, has finally joined Instagram. He’s racking up a pretty big following as well, currently sitting at 1.9 million followers.
The move comes after more than 60 years on television and radio, with the 94-year-old now taking to social media because “Saving our planet is now a communications challenge. We know what to do, we just need the will.”
So far the environmental-OG only has one post on his profile, addressing the camera as he puts a call to action to the world, saying “The world is in trouble. Continents are on fire. Glaciers are melting. Coral reefs are dying. Fish are disappearing from our oceans. The list goes on and on.”
Sir David will also be sharing various messages and information regarding current problems facing the planet, as well as put forth potential solutions which could help us deal with them. We’re definitely on board with the move by Dave, and will be tuning in for whatever amazing content he blesses us with. Check out his first full post below.
