How much would you be willing to pay for Snoop Doggs autograph…

Celebrity autograph app ‘Cameo’ has seen a huge increase in demand as gigs and sporting events have been shut down over the past couple of weeks.

To break it down for you, the service was founded in 2017 and seeks to let anyone with a little bit of fame sell virtual autographs as it were. The app seems to be a real hit with celebs across the world, featuring more than 30,000 stars.

“Suddenly, our talent, who are some of the most in-demand people on earth, they just literally have all this downtime that they never usually have,” says one of the cofounders Steven Galanis. “With social distancing in general, if it’s someone’s birthday, you can’t go to a restaurant or bar with them anymore, so people are looking for cool, unique ways to wish someone happy birthday, or congratulate them on whatever’s going on in life.”

He’s not exaggerating, with the app’s revenue increasing by 30% last week, and orders are up 83% since the beginning of March.

Among the GOAT Akon, you wouldn’t guess who else is on the service, with high profile figures like Kyrie Irving and Snoop Dogg having their virtual autographs going for hundreds of dollars on the service

Snoop Dogg’s autograph is going for $420, I just thought that was worth mentioning.
