Much-loved boarder Gilbert Crockett’s second design for Vans is a shoe with practicality in mind. Durability, comfort, and support – in that order.

One of the most loved skateboarders on the planet, with incredible steez and jaw-dropping videos, Gilbert Crockett always does this on his own terms. His second signature Pro model for Vans – Gilbert Crockett Pro 2 – is out this week, and has a bunch of unique qualities – much like Crockett himself.

The model features blind-seam suede, overlays on its toe cap and an Ultracush HD drop-in sockliner (major cushioning!), and a new outsole that makes the most of Vans Wafflecup technology – the best support and grip a skater could ask for. Crockett himself has been test-driving his new footwear around South London and Southbank over the last couple of days (look us his Instagram – @ceeblues).

The Gilbert Crockett model looks to be one that really holds up better to today’s higher standards of skating, and definitely something to get hyped on!
