adidas Skateboarding team rider Na-Kel Smith has dropped his own signature colour of the Matchcourt High RX, and it’s a definite head turner. Drenched in deep purple, the sneaker’s distinct sense of royalty is emphasised by an upper constructed of velvet and sweet, sweet suede. If you’ve ever dreamed of having your feet look like Macca’s legendary character Grimace, then this is your lucky day.

While saturated in purple, the latest Matchcourt High RX is given some relief with adidas’ iconic three stripes in white, which join at the base to a matching white midsole, while red stitching blesses the heel. The final luxury touch is some gold branding on the tongue, making this a sneaker that’s fit for a king, while still staying true to its skate roots.
