While it was only last month that 6lack embarked on his debut Australian tour – with headline shows as well as larger gigs alongside Migos – he’ll be heading down under one more time before the year closes.

In an extremely fast return to Australia, 6lack has just been announced on the bill for Origin NYE, Perth’s mega-festival also featuring ScHoolBoy Q, Stormzy, Kaytranada, A-Trak, Flatbush Zombies and more. The festival has been snatching some of the world’s biggest names in hip-hop and electronica in its 10-year history, with last year’s event also nabbing exclusive Aussie performances from ASAP Rocky and Die Antwoord.

Still, it’s no surprise that 6lack’s fanbase is swelling with such proficiency – the Atlanta battle rapper turned R&B crooner won over many with his commendable Free 6lack, but it’s yet to be seen whether he’ll be playing any more Australian shows on his last-minute visit.
