Beggin For Thread
Banks, a visual delight.

As we all know by now, Banks is the most blogged artist of 2014 so far. If you don’t, well you need to get out more my friend.

Banks top hit ‘Beggin For Thread’ cracked into the Top Ten for iTunes’ Overall Singles Sales Chart the day after release. A feat few have accomplished. With her debut album ‘Goddess’ fast approaching (out Sept 5 via EMI/Harvest Records) Banks has now dropped her clip to accompany the hit ‘Beggin For Thread’ which by the way was shot by: Barnaby Rooper (Kanye West, David Bowie, Presets). The video beautifully captures the forever sultry Banks in film noir fashion, immersed by dancers painted in red.

“‘Beggin For Thread’ is about embracing your scratched edges. At times I feel crazy, but I wrote this song because sometimes I like that feeling.” – Banks

Whilst we wait for the album to drop, have a sneaky listen to the new single ‘ Goddess’ in the interim.
