Chris Yee is back with yet another comic strip review, delivering his stern verdict on Tyga’s controversial show at The Metro Theatre.

Tyga has always been a divisive figure in rap, and that was exemplified by his performance at The Metro Theatre. While he hasn’t reached the same heights of fellow YMCMB alumni like Drake or Nicki Minaj, he has an arsenal of club bangers in his catalogue, and even a collaboration with Young Thug! Ten points. He’s also been canoodling with the Kardashians, which has undoubtedly boosted his profile – evident by the amount of Kylie Jenner clones in the audience at his two Sydney shows. We headed along to the latter gig for a Sunday turn-up with T-Raww.

Without giving too much away, let’s just say that this was the best night of people watching I’ve had since Stereosonic 2014, and that we thought a riot was going to break out at one point. For a full-fledged discussion of the gig, here’s Chris Yee with his comic strip review:
