For many, Jersey Shore marked the glory years of mind-numbing reality television and the ultimate guilty pleasure – and while it’s been a minute since we’ve heard from any of the cast members, fan favourite Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi has released her debut music video for ‘Yung Mommy’, and boy is it something.
The self-proclaimed Guidette, known on the show for ‘smushing’ and her obsession with pickles, has dropped a single about maturing into motherhood since the dissolution of Jersey Shore. With a thumping electro beat and a fair share of autotune, this song has ‘2016’ written all over it – and despite the fact that it’s obviously a piss-take, some critics are putting way too much thought into this track and legitimately getting mad over it. If the joke wasn’t clear enough, Snooki also said she hopes she’ll win a Grammy for this song and eventually collaborate with Drake.
