Perfect pick.

Sydney trio DMA’s have been announced as the next Aussie act to to take part in the MTV: Unplugged reboot.

It’s no secret DMA’s are a solid choice as for a live acoustic performance. Their ‘Like A Version’ cover of Cher’s ‘Believe’ has amassed over 6 million views, and their ability to churn out a sing along ballad is unlike anything we’ve seen from an Aussie band in the past decade, so it makes perfect sense that they are the next in line for an MTV Unplugged session.

Following on from Gang Of Youths and Amy Shark, the group’s performance will be going down on October 11th, in Melbourne at the Memo Music Hall. Though there is no news (right now) on how to get your hands on what will surely be a limited number of tickets, we can expect MTV to be making an announcement about it in the coming days. Stay tuned.
