The Aussie singer-songwriter takes another towards that next-big-thing title.

A lush sonic world, complete with huge vocals, emotive drops and euphoric highs – it’s pretty hard not to get completely wrapped up in Evie Irie’s latest tune ‘Little More Love’. The seventeen-year-old Sydney-born talent has once again proved that she’s capable of producing music beyond her years… and make us feel very old at the same time.

The track couldn’t have come at a better time, with the lyrics centering around how important collective human empathy and compassion is. “I wrote this song in a time when I felt the world needed a little more love. A year later I have realised that love isn’t just something we need in moments of struggle, love should always be a constant,” Evie says.

‘Little More Love’ also comes with the news that Evie’s sophomore EP The Optimist, will be hitting ears on August 14th, and will feature previous single ‘Worst Enemy’ which has already amassed half a million streams on Spotify alone. Needless to say, it’s exciting times for a musician that has already accomplished more than most do in a whole career – and she’s only just beginning.
