Like many Australian talents before them, Boo Seeka will soon be making the pilgrimage to SXSW – but first, they’ve treated us to a new single in ‘Does This Last’.

With ‘Does This Last’ serving as the first taste of their upcoming debut album, Boo Seeka are preparing to enter a new chapter in what has already been a dancefloor fairytale for the Sydney duo. Sold out headline tours have been supplemented by festival sets at Splendour In The Grass and Groovin The Moo, while they’ve just returned from a three-month trek in the United States. On the eve of yet another international escapade, it won’t be long before the whole world falls in love with Boo Seeka’s swirling, emotive electronica.

‘Does This Last’ adds more aural bliss to the cause, crafted with producer Ian Pritchett – the mastermind who’s placed his golden touches on Angus & Julia Stone, The Beautiful Girls and more. It’s a subdued number that builds momentum amicably throughout three minutes, showcasing Boo Seeka’s preference for warm vocals and hovering synths that pluck the heartstrings with ease.

In April and May, Boo Seeka will be bringing ‘Does This Last’ and the rest of their catalogue on the road for a headline tour which opens with a massive hometown show in Sydney, and treks across most states before concluding on the Sunshine Coast.
