If you’re wanting to take a little break from the music at this year’s Fall Festivals, there’s plenty of other options.
These days the festival experience encompasses much more than music, and while the aural aspect may make up the meat of the event, we punters expect a little more than just great tunes. Today, Falls Festival have announced their ‘arts’ lineup that will keep you entertained in case you (somehow) get sick of seeing acts like Anderson.Paak & the Free Nationals, Interpol, Toto, Amy Shark, Vance Joy and so on.
People attending the Byron Bay leg of the touring festival will be treated to Boxwars (which is apparently medieval-styled cardboard box fighting), rock and roll yoga, comedy, and more. Whilst Lorne and Marion Bay will feature ‘The Village’; a one stop shop for interactive entertainment like stand-up sets, stage productions and more.
Falls will also be doing fancy dress on the very first day of each festival. This year’s flavour is ‘Meme Theme’, so start planning something that will go viral! For more info on all the festivals music and arts programs (as well as tickets) head here.
