Eccentric psych-pop artist Fascinator once again delivers tasty visuals as accompaniment to his brand new single ‘Drenched Out.’

Today we have some more good news for fans of New York-based electro troubadour Fascinator (real name Johnny Mackay). Having just wrapped a national tour, the Australian artist has dropped a new video for his spacey tune ‘Drenched out’ which sees him pay homage to the most emotional human to volleyball interaction in cinematic history.

Clearly willing to go the distance for his art, he put his body on the line trying to get the necessary shots. “We had planned to build a raft out of junk and beach debris in Montauk, but happened upon a piece of decking by the water where we were shooting. We loaded the base with life jackets so it didn’t sink. It might not look it, but it was bloody freezing,” Mackay says.

Directing the clip himself Mackay hit Williamsburg and Greenpoint, Brooklyn and the Californian desert to fulfill his vision, using a nice balance of long range drone shots and tight studio angles to create a collage of visceral treats. This collection of shots compliments the track and the many musical flavours elusive artist exposes listeners to.
