The rapper was shot dead at his Hollywood Hills rental back in February.
Months after his death and with little other information being released, other than he was killed by four men wearing ski masks, it seems we may be a little closer to uncovering what happened and why it happened back in February when Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke was murdered. TMZ has just shared reports that five men: three adults and two juveniles have been arrested in relation to the case.
“We are confident we have the five individuals responsible for the killing of Bashar Jackson — Pop Smoke,” LAPD Capt. Jon Tippet said Thursday, whilst also alluding to how the killers may have known where the rapper was staying. “We believe that Pop Smoke posted his location on social media and that is how they found him,” he added.
So far no charges have been laid – stay tuned.
