Harry Styles might be famous for being one of this generation’s glitziest pop stars, but it sounds like he can go with some grunge, too.

The former One Direction member has been filmed in a Tokyo bar, joining a band for a cover of Nirvana’s timeless anthem ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit.’ We’re sure that purists are probably squirming at the thought of Styles’ rendition, but this isn’t the first time that Styles has attempted a classic – his cover of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘The Chain’ has earned him plenty of praise, so will this cover turn into something bigger?
