When you’re having a busy day, it’s easy to forget things that you maybe should’ve remembered.

We’re assuming that’s especially true for Kevin Parker, who’s not only the head honcho of this semi-small band named Tame Impala, but also an accomplished producer working alongside Mark Ronson, Lady Gaga, ASAP Rocky and more, with his fingers in several other musical pies. So yes, you can forgive Mr. Parker if he forgets something here and there, but get this: He accidentally forgot to tell his Tame Impala bandmates about the biggest gig of their career.

Earlier this year, Tame Impala were announced as Coachella headliners alongside Childish Gambino and Ariana Grande. The mammoth festival failed to register on Parker’s Stuff You Should Probably Tell People list, and he forgot to tell his bandmates who largely reside overseas. “They would’ve woken up, seen the poster and thought it was a joke,” he said to The Sunday Times. He then sent a quick message: “Hey guys, by the way, it’s real!”

“If they read this interview, they’ll know I forgot. We’re not much of a celebratory gang,” Parker continued.

You can catch Tame Impala performing on April 13 and 20 at Coachella, it’s gonna be a nice time:
