Listening to their new track ‘Deja Vu’ it’s obvious why Lastlings were snapped up by RÜFÜS DU SOL’s label.

Having resisted the temptations of the music industry when they first exploded onto the scene a few years ago, so one half of their duo could focus on schooling, Australian-Japanese brother/sister act Lastlings have returned in a big way. Their latest single ‘Deja Vu’ is a clear example of why these two are in such hot demand.

The group, which is made up of Amy Dowdle and Josh Dowdle, recorded ‘Deja Vu’ track at their RÜFÜS DU SOL’s studio in Venice, California, having signed them to their Rose Avenue label after seeing them perform live. It makes a whole heap of sense once you hear Amy’s vocals sizzle above the silky beats on the cruisy track that has got us super keen for the weekend.
