After causing a national stir by performing single ‘Same Love’ at the height of Australia’s SSM debate, Macklemore has announced his return for a more extensive tour Down Under in February 2018.

Indeed, Macklemore’s performance was one of the more interesting and contested moments of the Melbourne Storm’s flogging of the North Queensland Cowboys, with ‘Same Love’ drawing attention from the nation’s political figureheads and “angry old white dudes,” as described by Macklemore himself. Still, the attention was enough to propel ‘Same Love’ back to Number. 1 on the Australian iTunes charts.

Now, the rapper has revealed another Australian visit in early 2018, where he’ll be performing three shows along the East Coast before heading to nearby New Zealand for two final gigs. The tour will support Macklemore’s sophomore album Gemini, which dropped in June and features Lil Yachty, Kesha and incoming Migos member, Offset.

The pre-sale will begin at 11:00am, Monday October 9, with tickets on sale to the general public from 2:00pm, Tuesday October 10. See all the dates below, and find all the details over at Live Nation:
