What do you get when you put members from some of Australia’s best punk/garage groups in the same room? You get Total Pace.

Aussie punk rock fans rejoice, there’s a new supergroup that’s got us salivating just at the lineup. The group which features Branko Cosic (Tape/Off, Gold Stars), Luke Henery (Violent Soho), Simon Ridley (DZ Deathrays, Velociraptor) and Matthew Somers (I Heart Hiroshima), has just dropped their first single and announced their debut show, which will be happening in July.

The first taste of music we’ve got from the group is ‘73,’ and it’s just what you’d expect from the group – a hard hitting, raw and, most of all, heavy track. The video, which looks like it was filmed in someone’s living room is nothing fancy, just a bunch of lights and a great tune which goes to show the DIY spirit is alive and well within Total Pace.

‘73’ is taken from a forthcoming EP, and while there’s no news on any tours, Brissy locals can catch their shot at Black Bear Lodge for $10! (info here).
