The first Mountain Sounds lineup is here!
The Central Coast’s flagship festival is arriving on February 16 to February 18, expanding to a three-night affair at Mt Penang Parklands. For their initial drop, they’ve recruited two of Australia’s biggest rock acts, Gang Of Youths and The Preatures, both of whom are still searing hot from the release of their respective albums Go Farther In Lightness and Girlhood.
Seasoned party-starter Hot Dub Time Machine is also on the bill and sure to deliver another genre-free, time-spanning set, while the likes of Motez, Paces and Hayden James stand strong on the electronic front. Alex The Atsronaut and Amy Shark have also been billed, currently dominating airwaves as two of the country’s most hyped emerging artists.
But wait, there’s more! Mountain Sounds still have one secret massive headliner to announce, who they call “one of Australia’s biggest live acts.” While the description may be vague, all will be revealed with their second lineup announce coming on October 3.
