King’s Cross is still very much alive and kicking, and Otto’s House Party is providing live music for punters each and every Friday evening.

Launched by The World Bar a few months ago, the party aims to capture the energy of the 2000s dance and indie scenes that tangled with marvellous results, and will host both live acts and DJs across the multi-level venue. For their August roster, Otto’s House Party will feature Clypso, who’ll also be performing at BIGSOUND in September, as well as Maribelle representing Crush Club Records. Other acts include Nardean, fresh from her Creatress EP and tour, and emerging Newcastle talent Fritz.

The music will be accompanied by lighting instillations and live art, so all of your senses will be treated. See the monthly roster below, and head down to The World Bar on a Friday:

Friday 10 August // Ultra Cult Takeover ft. Clypso / Muki / Poolroom + Halcyon Drive / Cold Feet
Friday 17 August // Maribelle ‘I’m a Mess Without You’ single launch / Kid Fiction / Nardean / Sandro
Friday 24 August // Eilish Gilligan ‘Patterns’ single launch / Nussy / Max Quinn
Friday 31 August // Coven presents takeover ft. Fritz + more TBA
