The Sydney trio deliver a tune that’s well worth getting out of bed for.

With song titles like ‘Don’t Care’ and ‘Checkin’ Out’, and a name that refers to drinking beers, you could pretty much guess what kind of music Crushed Tinniez are producing, and you’d be right. But don’t underestimate them – their brand of garage/punk with hints of Dinosaur Jr. is ridiculously catchy and authentically Aussie.

Today, they drop their third single ‘Home’ which does nothing to quash any notion that these guys are a bunch of slackers who picked instruments and started writing about the first things that came to their heads – and we bloody love it. In just under two and a half minutes, the boys give us plenty of punk energy, dreamy verses, and a catchy AF chorus that sticks around in your head like a bad hangover.

Lyrically the tune centres around the pitfalls of anxiety and indecision. “‘Home’ is about when you meet a hot chicky babe and you don’t know how to play it, whether to message her or ask her to grab a beer or even just to hangout. After not knowing what to do, you end up just sitting at home contemplating your existence. Relatable right? Or might just be us tinz boys,” singer Jack Isaacs says.
