While Byron Bay might be more known for its hippies and hardcore kids, Dos Boy is one rapper from the coastal town who’s beginning to make traction nationwide.

Having recently relocated to Melbourne – a city currently oozing with fresh rap talents and club nights – Dos Boy presents us with his latest offering, ‘Run It.’ This time around, he’s connected with Kwasi on a guest verse and HFNR on production – two artists who were recently signed to the flourishing WVS imprint, as announced on Melbourne’s locally-focused rap radio show, AUD’$.

On ‘Run It,’ the trio deliver an anthem of perseverance addressing Dos Boy’s own battles with relationships and addiction, delivering a concrete hook with overcast, woozy production. “The concept is the evolution of my mindset, my transition from running away to running it. It’s about being triumphant through hardship,” Dos Boy said.
