Last week, RÜFÜS took to Instagram to promise a new single, and now, ‘No Place’ has arrived to signal the Australian dance trio’s incoming takeover.

Having premiered on triple j yesterday, the track – which marks RÜFÜS’ first new material in over two years – has been uploaded online for your listening pleasure. It’s another showcase of emotive electronica with lingering vocals and plenty of dancefloor appeal – a recipe which has made RÜFÜS one of the country’s most successful exports.

‘No Place’ is just a taste of what’s to come, with a new album from the group also confirmed to drop in 2018. The band have spent the past year in Venice, California recording the project, which is influenced by desert landscapes and their extensive time on tour.

“It feels like a new RÜFÜS… We are inspired by our new home out here, by the people we’ve met and the music we’ve heard along the way. We’ve got a refreshed sense of ambition and cannot wait to share our creation with the world,” a statement for the band reads.

Given that their previous two albums snagged the #1 spot on the ARIA charts and reached platinum status, so it’s fair to say that this release will be quite large. Listen to ‘No Place’ below:
