UPDATE: The ticket resale facility is now open, right here.

Less than an hour after general release tickets went on sale, Splendour In The Grass is now completely sold out.

The mega festival – which was offering one-day and three-day tickets to North Byron Parklands – had all of their passes snapped up after this morning’s 9:00am online rush. “Once again we have been overwhelmed by your love and enthusiasm for Splendour. We can’t wait to bring you another awesome show,” SITG co-producers Jessica Ducrou and Paul Piticco said.

“Our thoughts are with all those in our local Northern NSW community that have been devastated by floods over the past week. We will be announcing a fundraising initiative soon to assist with the recovery. In the meantime, we’re sending you all our love,” they continued.

If you missed out on this morning’s release, never fear – you do have a second chance. SITG will be opening their ticket resale facility on Monday, May 8 at 9:00am AEST. This provides people with a convenient method of offloading their tickets if they can no longer attend, while buyers are provided a safe and reliable avenue to get access to the event without the dodgy eBay accounts and back alley meet-ups. You can join the waiting list for the resale facility right here.

And tomorrow morning, more good news from the Splendour camp will be arriving our way, with an avalanche of sideshows se to be revealed. Given blockbuster names like The XX, Queens Of The Stone Age, HAIM, Stormzy, ScHoolboy Q and more, there’s endless potential for blockbuster gigs across Australia. If you can’t make it to Byron Bay, stay tuned to LWA to find out all the sideshow details.
