Last month, Summer Bright Lager revealed that they’d be hitting the road for Summer Sessions, consisting of six sunset shows along the East Coast with Cub Sport & Middle Kids.
With Summer Sessions set to kick off this weekend, Summer Bright Lager have now announced the six local support acts who will join the two headline acts at each of the gigs. Oh yeah, did we mention that they’re all free? Beers and tunes for zero dollars, this sounds like a very nice time to us.
The first date is this Saturday afternoon at Towradgi Beach Hotel – starring Cub Sport, Middle Kids and the local lads from White Blanks. The coastal punks have been causing quite the stir in the South, so it’s no surprise that they’ve been hand-picked for Summer Sessions.
Ahead of the gig, we caught up with White Blanks at local institution RAD Bar to talk about the Gong’s best spots and memorable fan experiences.
