This has been a great week for collabos! Check out five of our favourites below:

KAYTRANADA & ALICIA KEYS – SWEET F’IN LOVE

Undisputed R&B queen Alicia Keys has linked up with recent Australian visitor Kaytranada for a smooth and sultry gem that blends R&B and house with mesmerising reuslts. “Sweet F’in Love” is the sort of song that many wish they could write around Valentine’s Day, but to keep the mood silky just have this on replay come February 14.

Drake and Wizkid have previously connected on multiple occasions, most notably on the former’s irresisitible ‘One Dance’ – and here comes ‘Hush Up The Silence’. Just as we suspected, this is another gem that’ll transport you to a summery Caribbean landscape with plenty of tropical flavour. Let’s see if this can reach the ‘One Dance’ level.

SLUMBERJACK & VERA BLUE – FRACTURE

After numerous live previews – including an onstage collaboration at FOMO – Slumberjack have revealed their new single ‘Fracture’ featuring Vera Blue. Having already delivered one of 2016’s standout hooks with her efforts on Illy’s ‘Papercuts’, Vera Blue comes roaring into 2017 with another colossal effort. Available now via Mad Decent – we’re expecting this to blow.

DMX & SWIZZ BEATS – BAIN IZ BACK

Alicia Keys isn’t the only busy bee in her family – husband Swizz Beats has recently revealed brand new material from NYC OG, DMX. Having produced some of his most iconic hits including ‘Ruff Ryders Anthem’, Swizz drops another ominous beat that DMX spits over. There’s no R&B hooks and no melodic breaks – this is DMX, straight up and uncompromising.

PHANTOGRAM – YOU DON’T GET ME HIGH ANYMORE (A-TRAK REMIX) FT. JOEY PURP

Having already collaborated on ‘Parallel Lines’, Phantogram & A-Trak connect once again on a remix of the former’s ‘You Don’t Get Me High Anymore’. This time, Joey Purp is also in the mix to drop some bars, and with Phantogram having just left the country after some NYE festival dates, we’re already anticipating their return.
