With his dedication to live elements, Sydney producer and songwriter Billy Fox delivers plenty of organic groove on his latest single ‘Shapes,’ and it’s time to premiere the video right here on LWA.

Taking care of vocals, synths and guitar duties, Billy Fox is a one-man band on ‘Shapes’ and the star of the show, which also marks his debut in front of the camera. “This is the first film clip I’ve actually featured in, so I wanted it to be weird – the weirder the better, I said. When I saw the treatment with hands coming out of objects and the intense retro colour palette, I was in,” he explains.

‘Shapes’ ends up being a slice of throwback psychedelia, with 70s inspired decor and retro palettes delivered through glitchy waves that make this feel like a moment immortalised in the long lost art of VHS. Of course, all of this is set to the Billy Fox’s infectious single and some live footage to boot.
