Last night, Drake wrapped up the third and final Sydney show from his Boy Meets World tour.
In what’s common protocol for many mainstream rappers, Drizzy then hosted an afterparty at Marquee, the nightclub lodged inside Star Casino. While standing on the DJ booth, above a sea of iPhone lights, Drake stopped his signature single ‘Know Yourself’ to get serious – and call out a fan who was groping female attendees at the gig.
“If you don’t stop touching girls, I will come out there and fuck you up,” Drake says after watching the incident unfold. He then reiterated his point, continuing to say, “If you don’t stop putting your hands on girls, I’m gonna come out there and fuck your ass up.”
The tense situation was captured by Instagram user @louisesukari, with the footage seen below. Perhaps she put it best when she captioned the post, “Violence against women, 6 God says no.” We’ll have to wait and see if Drake or Marquee elaborate further on what went down:
