We’ve run a handful of giveaways in our time, but this one might be the biggest – with one lucky LWA reader to score the illustrious ‘Golden Ticket’ and gain access to four shows presented by BBE!

Promoter power couple BBE are responsible for some of the biggest bass and electronica tours to come Down Under – including Flosstradamus, Boys Noize and Shlohmo – as well as the inaugral FOMO festival which took place in Brisbane earlier this year. As we delve deeper into 2016, BBE are showing no signs of slowing down, with some of their biggest projects yet to take place in the coming months.

Now, here’s the excellent news: BBE have been kind enough to offer a Golden Ticket which gets you into four of their upcoming gigs in Sydney – two of which have sold out. Yes, this is the hottest ticket in town, and will get you access to the following parties:

NOVELIST // Saturday 9th April – Oxford Art Factory (Tickets here)
DILLON FRANCIS // Saturday 16th April – Max Watts (Sold out)
SOULECTION: SOUND OF TOMORROW // Sunday 1st May – Taylor’s Rooftop (Tickets here)
GESAFFELSTEIN // Saturday 7th May – Metro Theatre (Sold out)

Sounds pretty fucking amazing, right? For your chance to win the Golden Ticket and make all your friends shed tears of unadulterated jealousy, all you have to do is email [email protected] and tell us which of the four gigs above you’re looking forward to the most. It’s that easy! Please get creative with your entries and put ‘LWA X BBE‘ in the subject line.

We’ll be closing our entries on Monday, April 4 – hop to it and get some more crucial information on the artists below:

NOVELIST

Novelist is barely of drinking age, but the English emcee is already being hailed as one of grime music’s most exciting prospects. He’s already collaborated with the likes of Baauer and Chase & Status, while he’s flexed his skills confidently everywhere from BBC Radio 1 to Rinse FM. His debut is also set to be released under XL Recordings – Not bad for a 19 year old!

Dillon Francis is a man who needs no introduction. The electronic heavyweight is not only a formidable producer, but he’s also one of the Internet’s funniest characters – just follow one of his social media avenues for the evidence. His debut album, the cheekily titled Money Sucks, Friends Rule features everybody from Major Lazer to the singer from Panic! At The Disco (MySpace memories, anyone) as well as Australia’s own The Presets.

Soulection might be the underground’s hottest beat-based stable, and three of their premier acts – Esta, The Whooligan and Joe Kay – are heading Down Under for the ‘Sound of Tomorrow’ showcase. Soulection are some of electronica’s most influential and progressive tastemakers, whether it’s delivering genius production, curating parties or hosting their Beats 1 radio show. Unlimited vibes on a rooftop? Say no more.

GESAFFELSTEIN

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRSijEW_cDM

French techno lord Gesaffelstein has collaborated with everyone from longtime Bromance partner Brodinski to Kanye West himself – contributing production to two tracks that helped mould the abrasive aesthetic of his polarising Yeezus album. Gesaffelstein’s own debut album Aleph was released in 2013, and he’ll be bringing those ominous sounds for one hell of a rave in Sydney. There will be sweat.
