From Michael Jordan to Kobe Bryant, you’ve seen an athlete’s specifically designed basketball shoe before, but not quite like this. Legendary baller Steph Curry is about to drop his latest design, The Curry Two. Featuring a full-length Charged Cushioning midsole unit and a UA SpeedForm seamless upper, the shoe is the very first of its kind. For those of you (like me) who aren’t sure what Speedform Technology is, it’s a breathable, perfectly-fitted upper mould that provides free range of motion and strategic stability so Curry can stop and go, cut and change speed without restrictions. As well as this, the Charged Cushioning unit in the midsole absorbs impact and converts it into a responsive burst to enhance Curry’s first-step and change of direction. The precision fit of UA SpeedForm technology and adaptive responsive nature of Charged Cushioning optimises Stephen’s one of a kind skill set.
“The first time I put my foot in the Curry Two, I knew having Charged Cushioning through the whole shoe would be a performance difference-maker,” said Curry. “I’ve been wearing the Curry Two all summer in my workouts, and I’m excited that the design and performance of the shoe will not just enhance my game, but it will provide all basketball players with real innovation that works.”
If this shoe isn’t gonna make you a better baller, I don’t know what is. Cop the fresh new images below.
And here is a little highlight clip of Steph’s most recent outing in Phoenix, all done in 3 quarters!
