While The Weeknd he might be one of the biggest R&B stars in the world right now, he isn’t immune to lukewarm crowds – as shown in his latest video for ‘Can’t Feel My Face’.

The irresistible pop jam was produced by Max Martin (Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears) and has earned the singer endless comparisons to Michael Jackson, while we’re expecting it to be one of the most popular tracks this summer. The video sees the Canadian crooner performing in a modest club space, while the unresponsive audience break their glaze to throw things onstage.

However, the real action happens when The Weeknd lights up the whole audience – literally. Watch the video right here, exclusive to Apple.
