How good is not having to go to work? There’ll be plenty of reasons to celebrate this holiday season, and one of them will be sending you back into a timewarp right back to the 2000s to celebrate all things rap.

The Naughty Noughties: Rap Heaters will taking over The Cliff Dive on Sunday December 27, and will be a post-Christmas bash worth dusting off your du-rag for. This is the era of hip-hop where stars like 50 Cent, Clipse, The Game, Ja Rule and Dipset thrived, so you can bet that there’ll be a lot of bangers with Sydney selectors Nes, Gcoo and Australia’s Number. 1 Strip Club DJ Leon Smith on the decks. The night will be hosted by local fashion blogger and emerging rapper 24 Karat Kev, who may or may not wear an entire FUBU outfit.

Also, the night promises that ‘Butterfly‘ by Crazy Town will be played at least three times. What a deal! It’s free before 10pm and just five dollarydoos after, so get involved on December 27:
