Eric’s story of OBSESSION is about every creative detail in the mental game that is skating. For Eric, it begins in the mind’s eye. A fresh twist on an old trick; a new variation at a different spot – something he’s only ever seen in his imagination.

This video kicks off where it all began, at Lockwood Elementary. To some, Lockwood Elementary is just another LA schoolyard, but to Eric and the skateboarding world it is a mecca where modern street skating was born.

What was born at Lockwood fueled a movement far beyond a deck and four wheels, with Koston growing to become one of the sport’s greatest. His professional and personal success was only furthered by the creation of The Berrics – a skating haven founded by Eric and close friend Steve Berra, where fellow skateboarders can pursue their passion.
