The music world was shaken to the core when word got out that Dr. Dre was hospitalised for a brain aneurysm earlier in the month. It’s been nearly two weeks since the harrowing ordeal, and now, the hip hop legend is finally home, and you won’t be at all surprised about how he’s spending his time out of hospital.
Giving us all a bit of an update on Dre, one of his main collaborators Dem Jointz has shared a photo of them together in the studio, along with a slew of other producers who we’re betting are helping Dre on his next project. And for once on Instagram, the comment section is full of love, with hip hop icons like Ghostface Killer, DJ Premier, and 2 Chainz showing support to the hip hop Don and happy to see him doing well.
As of now doctors are still unsure what caused the initial aneurysm, and thus have mandated that Dre be monitored around the clock until they find out what started it all. No doubt that’ll get old real quick, but at least whoever is monitoring him will get to see the genius himself in a super rare creative spot, the likes of which he probably hasn’t been in in years.
