If you needed something to do between Christmas and NYE besides being a lazy sack of shit on the couch, The Island LIVE has just announced that it’ll be returning for a holiday edition – and they’re bringing along the legendary Bag Raiders to take over the floating venue on December 28.

To many punters, Bag Raiders represent the great heights of Australian electronica back in the 2000s, with releases on tastemaker labels including Fool’s Gold, Bang Gang & Modular, and definitive anthem ‘Shooting Stars’ still getting the dancefloor heated years after its release. Recently, the lads have continued to deliver the house and indie vibes with recent releases including ‘Nairobi’ and ‘Waterfalls’. The duo will be joined by Tear Council, Mantra Collective, Adi Toohey and our friends from Zanerobe, who will be putting aside the threads to handle the decks at The Island.
