A Victorian couple who posted pics from a holiday last year were each fined $1652 for breaching social distancing laws after the images were passed on to police. The Herald Sun reports that the fines awarded to Jaz and Garry Mott have since been revoked after the authorities learned that the pics weren’t taken over the Easter long weekend.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Ms. Mott said that after revoking the fine, a senior sergeant at Traralgon, near where the couple lives “basically told me not to post any more photos while the lockdown is in place”.

You’d have to think that people will be less inclined to share a pic from that bush walk or snaps of them walking along the coast for exercise knowing that all it takes is someone sharing that image with the police for a potential fine to be issued. Pretty fucking hectic times.
