Party & Bullshit
March 30, 2018

The biggest block party in the Inner-West went down like an Easter treat for those who were lucky enough to get a ticket.

Predicting a huge day of top-notch Australian music as well as plenty of fine food and booze, numbers swelled early at this years Bad Friday as eager punters descended into the giant concrete, warehouse lined streets of Marrickville ready to party – and they weren’t let down.

We walked up and down the lane swapping stage for stage, getting blown away by local faves like Pist Idiots and Betty & Oswald as well as massive sets from The Belligerents and Boo Seeka. There was hardly any time time for stopping to load up on beers, as there was constantly quality tunes pumping from either end.

Later all the whispered rumours leading up to event were confirmed when the secret headliner was unveiled as the Newtown’s own Sticky Fingers, who returned to an enormous applause from their loyal fanbase who have been waiting for their return since their year-long hiatus, before churning out the classics like ‘How To Fly’ and ‘Outcast At Last.’

Overall, even the heat couldn’t stop this years Bad Friday. Check out what went down on the day here:
