Groove was in our hearts when Carl Cox and Eric Powell brought the funk to Melbourne this weekend.

It’s not often you get to witness a couple of legendary DJs killing it live. It’s even more rare that you get to listen to handpicked soul, funk, and motown records from their private collections. But that’s exactly how it went down when UK spinners Carl Cox and Eric Powell hit Melbourne last night, delivering outstanding sets that had us feeling the boogie in a big way.

And that’s not all, we also witnessed and incredible dance performance from a talented troupe rocking their Impala Rollerskates. Watching them roll round the stage made it feel like we’d dipped back in time to a groovy club in the 70’s, when disco was king.
