Celebrating a quarter century in the game, Element took to Burleigh Heads for a warehouse party over the weekend. Teaming up with Surf Dive ‘N’ Ski, the Element party drew 500 attendees who came to send their happy birthdays and best wishes to the much-loved skate brand. The party was hosted by Pat Gemzik – direct from the United States – while crowds nibbled on food from On A Roll food truck.
The warehouse walls acted as a visual insight into the brand, dressed in over 90 boards from Element founder Johnny Schillereff, while the Element team also tackled a skate ramp on the night. Of course, no birthday celebration would be complete without cake, and team rider Dennis Durrant had the honours of cutting the inaugural slice. Trap Door soundtracked the night from the mezzanine, with Red Bull selectors then dropping some bangers to round it all off.
