The last time LWA was fortunate enough to cover a G-Eazy show, it was back in 2016, with the Bay Area-native touring through Australia in support of his sophomore album When It’s Dark Out

Propelled by menacing stage presence and a devoted fanbase (even 7500 miles away from his home in Oakland, CA) he graced the Sydney audience with a carefully-orchestrated setlist of slick, hyphee-bred turn-up songs, ultimately packing the Metro Theatre to the gills for a wild, sweat-drenched evening.

Now back in action on the Endless Summer Tour, we caught up with the self-proclaimed “Rap Game James Dean” on the heels of his third full-length album, the shadowy, cinematic The Beautiful and the Damned. Joined by special guests Ty Dolla $ign, YBN Nahmir, and the young prince of darkness Lil Uzi Vert (who arrived very, very late via helicopter), he drew a crowd of just under 20,000 greater NYC area fans to the PNC Bank Arts Center.

Check out all the action from the night, and stay tuned for the Australian tour announcement.
