Party & Bullshit

We hit China Heights Gallery to celebrate the launch of sustainable footwear company, Indosole.

With their goal of becoming one of the world leaders in enviro footwear and sustainable fashion, Indosole certainly kicked things off in the right direction last night at their official launch party. Spearheaded by ex-surfer Nick Riley, the company has saved over 60,000 tyres from going to landfill and repurposed them into ultracool and supremely comfy footwear which is definitely something worth celebrating.

With art installations from the company’s Creative Director, Marcie O’Neill, on display as well as performances from one of our fave psych acts, Lord Dodongo, and a DJ set from Rad Dan, there was no shortage of entertainment in the evening. Of course, it definitely doesn’t hurt to wash it all down with dark and stormies from Bati Spiced Rum Co. of Fiji and icy cold, low-carb beers from Vonu Beer, with an epic cheese board from Platter Wonderland.
