Party & Bullshit

Last night, Warner held a special screening of Major Lazer’s Give Me Future documentary, giving a behind-the-scenes look at their historic, unprecedented gig in Cuba.

Teaming up with Heaps Decent – the Australian music initiative founded by Diplo, DJ Levins & Nina Las Vegas – the screening took place at the freshly established Palace Central Cinemas at Central Park. Give Me Future follows Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire as they look to perform a large-scale free show in Cuba, also giving deep insights into the country’s resourceful youth and creative spirits, who consume global culture despite living much of their lives offline.

In the end, Major Lazer’s free show in Havana draws 400,000 attendees, and makes for some simply unbelievable footage as Major Lazer deliver their vivacious hybrid of electronica and Carribbean sounds. It’s no doubt a once in a lifetime experience for Major Lazer, and has been captured for our viewing please. See the Give Me Future trailer below, and find the full film on Apple:
